Studio Update from Megan: What’s Going On + What To Expect This Spring.

Hey friends,

If you’ve noticed or been following our socials, I haven’t been behind the chair lately. Here’s a quick update: I went to our local St. Mary’s ER on April 1 with what I thought to be a bad sinus/ear infection, I thought I would receive fluids and be home within a few hours, they ended up doing a CT Scan which showed a large mass (1.2 x 1.8 inches) pressing on my brain, I was immediately taken by squad to OSU Emergency Room where I spent the next 12 days in their ICU before they were able to perform surgery to completely remove the mass on April 10. The surgery went well and I’m recovering, just taking things one day at a time while I heal.

What’s Next:

I won’t know my exact return date until my follow-up appointment to remove my staples on April 24th, but I’m hoping to start scheduling again sometime in early May. As soon as I get the green light, I will be opening up my calendar and sharing more details.

In the Meantime:

  • The rest of the Studio H Team is holding it down while I’m out — if you need anything, they’ve got you!

  • I’m still checking in when I can and we’ll be posting updates as I recover.
