At Studio H, we believe in transparency and clear communication. The following policies outline our booking, service, extension, payment, privacy, and salon standards. These policies apply to all appointments and services and are available across our website for review.
By booking an appointment with Studio H, you acknowledge and agree to the policies outlined below.
Booking + Appointments
Appointments may be booked online through our booking system or by contacting the salon directly. Appointments are considered confirmed once booking is completed and, when applicable, a deposit is secured.
We kindly ask that clients arrive on time for their scheduled appointment. Late arrivals may result in a shortened service, rescheduling, or additional fees, depending on availability. Arrival more than 15 minutes late may be treated as a missed appointment.
Cancellation + No-Shows
We ask that clients notify us in advance if an appointment needs to be canceled or rescheduled.
Standard Appointments
Cancellations or changes made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment are subject to a 50% service charge.
No-shows or failure to communicate will result in a 100% charge of the scheduled service.
Extension Appointments
Extension appointments require a minimum of 72 hours’ notice for cancellation or rescheduling.
Cancellations or changes made within 72 hours of an extension appointment will result in forfeiture of deposits and may be subject to additional charges.
This policy reflects the time, preparation, and scheduling required for custom extension services.
Adjustments
Studio H is committed to quality work and client satisfaction. Adjustment policies vary by service type.
Color Services
Color adjustments must be requested within 7 days of the original appointment.
Adjustments must be performed by the original stylist, unless otherwise approved.
Adjustments requested after 7 days are subject to standard service fees.
Extension Services
Extension adjustments are limited to one complimentary adjustment, if deemed necessary by the stylist.
Adjustment requests must be made within 48 hours of the original extension installation.
Complimentary adjustments do not apply to changes of mind, preference changes, or issues resulting from improper aftercare or external services.
Any additional adjustments beyond the initial complimentary adjustment require payment and are treated as a new service.
Studio H reserves the right to determine whether an adjustment is warranted based on service outcome, aftercare compliance, and professional discretion.
Payments + Refunds
Payment is due at the time of service completion.
Studio H does not offer refunds on services rendered, including hair services, extension services, or custom services. All service sales are final.
Retail Product Exchange Policy
If you are dissatisfied with a hair product purchased at Studio H, we are happy to exchange the product for another item. Please bring the product back to the salon, and our front desk team will assist you.
Limitations:
The following items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange:
Mechanical items (including hot tools)
Brushes
Accessories
Special order items
Hair extensions
Gift Cards & Deposits
Gift cards are non-refundable and have no cash value.
Deposits, when required, are non-refundable. Deposits secure appointment time, preparation, and resources and are forfeited if cancellation policies are not met.
Any approved adjustments are not considered refunds and are subject to the terms outlined in the Adjustment Policy.
Chargebacks or payment disputes that violate Studio H’s posted policies will result in booking restrictions or refusal of future services.
Extensions + Custom Services
Hair extensions are a custom service and require a consultation prior to booking.
Extension hair purchases are non-refundable once ordered.
Full payment for extension hair is required before ordering.
Maintenance appointments are required every 8-12 weeks to ensure scalp health and extension longevity.
Clients must follow all aftercare and maintenance instructions provided verbally and in writing.
Improper care, missed maintenance, excessive heat, swimming, or services performed elsewhere may compromise results.
Studio H is not responsible for extension concerns resulting from:
Failure to follow aftercare instructions
Lifestyle factors or misuse
Services performed outside of Studio H
Additional adjustments or modifications outside of policy require payment.
Salon Standards + Right To Refuse Service
Studio H reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service to any client for behavior that is unsafe, disrespectful, or disruptive to the salon environment or staff.
We are committed to maintaining a professional, respectful space for all guests and team members.
Privacy Policy
Client information is collected for booking, communication, and internal business purposes only. We do not sell or share client information with third parties outside of standard business operations or required service platforms.
By booking with Studio H, you consent to email and text communication related to appointments, services, and salon updates.
